1.  What the heck is a 'review session', anyway?

Whena person you can relate to tells a funny joke or two, and teaches youeverything you need to know for your exam. It usually takesabout 3 hours, including a 10-15 minute break halfway. We knowit's long... but hey, those exams make up most of your grade. Alwaysincluded in the cost of the review is a review packet we have preparedfor you, and some extra help right before the exam (in the form of a online problem session).

2.  Where are the review sessions held?

Allof our review sessions are held at our 9,000sq ft facility in downtownGainesville (there is a link for directions at the bottom of the page);click the link for directions, and make sure to get on our emaillist.

3. How personal is the help I am getting?

Unfortunately, there simply isn't enough time to do privatetutoring with a few hundred people before a test. But, we ALWAYS makeourselves available for any questions you have. Whether it's during areview, before or after a review, or by email, one could argue that weare much more in touch than a private tutor. Why? Because this is ourfull-time job and we care about the quality of the service we areproviding. Wait, that sounds too rehearsed... how about this: We reallydo give a sh#@ about your grade!

4.  But I am a very good student and go to every class. Do I still need to go to a review?

First of all, every class? Every single one? You didn't miss oneclass when you were hung over or sick? Really? Don't lie to us... okay,that's what we thought.

Actually, a very high percentage of our students do make it to everysingle class. Seriously. The better a student that you are, the moreyou realize that every last bit helps, and that there are people outthere (us) that can make things a lot easier to learn. The quick paceof the reviews and comprehensive review packet mean that you spend lesstime studying than you would have on your own. And you are always goingto have questions... which is what we are here for. Finally, we knowthe teachers and we know the tests better than anyone else. We knowwhat you need to know and what you don't, so you don't waste time onthings that aren't important.

5.  Why are TutoringZone reviews so much better than any others at UF?

Because there aren't any others, that's why!

Seriously though, we have great people who work very hard. They doreviews semester after semester and get better and better every time.It's the tutor's job to know absolutely everything about the class, thematerial, the teacher, and the tests. And since we're not directlyaffiliated with the university, we can actually try to have fun.

6.  What is this guarantee all about?

7.  Why should I subscribe to the email list for my class? ;

So many people don't realize how important the email lists are until late in the semester. But you need to
subscribeas soon as you consider going to a review. Why? Very importantinformation, changes, and updates are sent out via email. If a locationchanges (which happens very infrequently) or we want you to have moreexamples right before the exam, we need a way of contacting you. Also,before the reviews, you will hear everything about parking and otherimportant stuff. Finally, it gives us a better idea of how many peopleto expect, so we can make sure there are plenty of seats. WE NEVER SELLOR GIVE OUT EMAIL ADDRESSES. Not under any circumstances...no matterwhat.
