Paul recieved his bachelors degree from UC Santa Barbara in Business Economics and Sociology. He worked in accounting for a few years before earning his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida while concentrating on Finance and Financial Services.
After all of that schooling, Paul worked for America Online in Jacksonville as an Operations Manager. His claim to fame is that he saved them $100 million in his first year. Chump change. Paul left America Online to come back to work at TutoringZone as says he has been happy since.

Jon Aleman - Tutor/CIO
Classes: MAN4504, QMB3250, STA2023, STA3024
Jon is a National Hispanic Scholar hailing from South Florida. No, a National Hispanic Scholar does not specialize in lawn care or roofing. That’s rude and racist and you shouldn’t have said that.
Anyways, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from the University of Florida. After graduating, Jon taught AP Statistics and IB Mathematics for one of the top International Baccalaureate programs in the world. Shortly thereafter, he began his career at TutoringZone.
Jon thinks that you're, like, a really special person... but, he just wants to be friends for now.

Zach lives in Gainesville with his wife Katryna, parakeet Poopy, and island dog Pearl.

If you want to make Jenn laugh, tell her a joke that starts with "Two electrons walk into a bar..."
|

Lauren is pursuing her Masters in Chemistry while living and breathing chemistry.

Rich Melgarejo- Tutor
Classes: CHM1025, CHM2045, CHM2046, CHM2095, CHM2096
Rich is finishing up a degree in Chemistry and will continue on to pursue his Masters in Chemistry. Rich "You Need It, You Got It" Melgarejo is quite the poker player, but you certainly wouldn't know it. Trust us, he's not "dead money" like you might think.
In his spare time Rich enjoys listening to music and writing tunes to memorize the periodic elements. (Just kidding. He loves Chemistry, but come on.)
Some have speculated that Rich was actually Genghis Khan in another life. This doesn't make any sense, as when one becomes reincarnated, it isn't typical to resemble one's former self.

Michael Underwood - Tutor
Classes: PHY2049, PHY2054, GMAT/GRE Verbal
Michael is currently pursuing a graduate degree here at the University of Florida and loves turning potential energy into kinetic energy.
Only physics majors will get that reference. And, of course, only you physics majors will find that even remotely funny.
And, if you're a physics major who did find that funny, and you're still reading this sentence with a murmur of residual laughter, perhaps you should go out and get some friends. Just a thought.

Hans Tanzler- Tutor
Classes: ACG2021
Hans just started his Masters in Accounting.
There is little to say about Hans other than he is tall and only wears pastel polo shirts. Clearly, he is trying to break the typical "accounting" mold.
|
Russell McCloud- Tutor
Classes: MAC2311, MAC2312, EGM2511
Russell McCloud teaches MAC2311, MAC2312, and EGM2511. Anything involving numbers and dorkiness. Speaking of which, you should ask Russel about the really 'neat' properties of prime numbers. Just make sure you clear your schedule for the next 5 hours.

Graham Rees - Tutor
Classes: ACG2021, ECO2023
Graham is a National Merit scholar hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a BS in Economics and wrote his thesis on fair-trade-economic-theory with a focus on third world countries (he doesn't really know what that means either, but thinks it sounds impressive).
He and his dog, Cooper (brother of Riley), tutor Accounting and Economics. Graham is an avid reader, golfer, a HUGE Saints fan, and he can crush you in Scrabble. |
Tim Lewerenz - Tutor
Classes: PHY2048, PHY2053, MAC2313
Tim graduated Valedictorian from Vanguard High School in Ocala, Fl. For those of you who don't know, Ocala is where Daunte Cullpepper (and, of course, Tim Lewerenz) calls home.
As evidenced by his awesome picture and popped-collar attitude, Tim is a really big deal.
|
David Hanan - Tutor
Classes: ECO2013
David is a graduate of economics, a formal events disc jockey and a professional entertainer (yet to be fully verified, as the jury is still out on that one). His vivacious orange personality and unapologetic humor has earned him the praise and respect of fellow inmates (a.k.a. his roommates) His kinesthetic teaching style guarantees students will learn, and feel economics in a brand new way.
